What we do
NYC Ticket Odds is an independent data tool. We compute how often each type of NYC parking and camera ticket has historically been dismissed or reduced at hearings, using the City of New York’s public hearing records — so you can decide whether disputing is worth your time. If you choose to dispute, we can also help you draft a written statement based on facts you provide. Every number on this site can be audited against the public dataset, and our method is documented on the methodology page. Data last refreshed: 9/8/2026.
What we don’t do
- We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice.
- We do not represent you and do not file anything on your behalf.
- We do not guarantee or predict the outcome of any individual case — historical statistics describe past hearings, not your hearing.
- Contacting us never pauses a deadline. Disputing is free on the official NYC site, and you always submit yourself.
How we make money
Looking up your ticket and every statistic on this site is free. The personalized dispute-statement draft is also currently free for a limited time — see our Terms. No subscriptions, no percentage of your fine. NYC Ticket Odds is an independent product built by a small independent team; it is not affiliated with any government agency or law firm.
Guarantees & refunds
Everything on this site — ticket lookups, all statistics, and the personalized dispute-statement draft — is currently free, so there is nothing to charge or refund. If we reintroduce the paid draft, it will carry a 14-day no-questions-asked refund: email hello@zalize.com and we refund in full. We never charge a percentage of your fine, and we never promise an outcome — no honest service can guarantee that a ticket will be dismissed.
