NYC Ticket Odds

Terms of Service

Last updated: July 31, 2026

1. What we are (and are not). NYC Ticket Odds is an information and self-help software service. We are not a law firm, we are not attorneys, we are not registered representatives or brokers before any tribunal, and we do not provide legal advice or legal representation. No attorney-client relationship is created by using this site.

2. Statistics. Dismissal and reduction rates are historical aggregates computed from public City of New York records. They describe past group outcomes only and are not a prediction, promise, or guarantee of the outcome of any individual case.

3. Self-service only. Any documents or drafts we help you prepare are prepared at your direction for your own use. You are solely responsible for reviewing them, confirming their accuracy, and submitting them yourself to the NYC Department of Finance. We do not file, submit, or communicate with any agency on your behalf. Using this service does not pause or extend any deadline.

4. Truthfulness. You agree to provide only truthful information. Knowingly submitting false statements to the NYC Department of Finance can have legal consequences, and DOF may reverse decisions based on false evidence.

Current free period. The drafting service is currently provided free of charge for a limited time. During this free period no payment is collected and the payment and refund provisions below apply only to purchases made during paid periods.

5. Payments. Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle handles checkout, billing, applicable sales tax, invoices, and payment support. The charge on your statement may appear as “PADDLE.COM”. Paddle’s Buyer Terms (paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms) apply in addition to these terms.

6. Refunds. Refunds apply to paid purchases only. During a paid period, the $19 drafting service comes with the following refund promise: if the hearing decision on the dispute you filed using our draft finds you guilty with no fine reduction, email your decision notice to hello@zalize.com within 60 days of the decision date and we will refund the full purchase price. Refunds are limited to the amount you paid us, and are issued through Paddle to your original payment method.

7. Limitation of liability. The service is provided “as is” without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

8. Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

9. Changes. We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
